Our filtering cluster performs a number of indepth SPAM filtering actions as well as cleansing emails for virus' and other unwanted attachments. These emails are held in a quarantine state for 30 days unless they are forced through the system by the recipient. Every morning all users recieve a SPAM filter report which shows all the messages trapped for the previous day, they they have the option to force these messages through.
91% of all the mail trapped by our mailservers is SPAM and we currently process aroudn 20,000 mails per day we then pass on this 9% of clean mail to our customers.
